Maliki’s forces put up a long pole with cameras, espionage devices and loudspeakers

According to a statement released by Secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran Iraqi forces under Maliki’s command have installed cameras, espionage devices, and new loudspeakers at Camp Liberty for suppressive purposes and to prepare the grounds to conduct further attacks against PMOI members in Camp Liberty.

On Wednesday night, January 29, a group of Iraqi forces commanded by the criminal Major Ahmed Khozair, put up a long pole at the Camp Liberty’s entrance with American loudspeakers, cameras and espionage and control devices installed on top of it.
On 11 November 2013, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) declared in a statement: While Government of Iraq refuses provision of minimum security requirement in Camp Liberty,  at the behest of the Iranian regime, the Iraqi government intends to install more surveillance cameras in Liberty. In doing so, it is beguiling the US and the United Nations by claiming that the cameras will be used for security and protection purposes.  The cameras will be used to identify the gathering places of the residents in the camp in order to extract more casualties in the next massacre.

On 25 September 2013, in a visit by U.S. and UN representatives of Camp Liberty, the residents warned of an “increase in the number of cameras and the growing number of Iraqi security forces at Camp Liberty” that “pave the way for the next massacres”.
