Yahya Ziyarati becomes the fourth martyr of December 26 rocket attack on Camp Liberty

The Iranian Resistance had previously called for transfer of Yahya Ziyarati and two other wounded to Europe
Today, Friday, 3 January 2014, at 1 pm local time, Yahya Ziyarati, 46, a PMOI member in Camp Liberty who had suffered a cardiac arrest due to severity of wave of explosion during the fourth rocket attack, was martyred. He is the fourth martyr of the December 26 rocket attack on Camp Liberty, said Secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran in a statement.
Yahya joined the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) 25 years ago and joined the ranks of freedom fighters in Ashraf for an incessant battle with the anti-human enemy.
Wednesday night, Yahya was returned from a hospital in Baghdad back to Camp Liberty; however, in the afternoon of the next day, because of his deteriorating condition, he was taken to the Iraqi clinic and subsequently died in that clinic.

In NCRI statement no. 11 on December 29, the Iranian Resistance had declared that despite the passing of three days from the rocket attack, the condition of Yahya Ziyarati is critical and he is still in the special care unit (CCU). The Iranian Resistance called on the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and the European countries to immediately transfer him, along with two other badly wounded residents (Hassan Mohammadi and Khossrow Rezai) to Europe, emphasizing that the Iranian Resistance would assume all expenses for their transfer, accommodations and medical treatments.
